The RPC Team worked with AMS to create a web application that can communicate directly with a vehicle to track location in real time and have the ability to disengage the ability to start the vehicle. In the auto sales industry, consumer financing can be a tricky business. With a high attrition rate due to customer non-compliance, AMS needed a real time system that could help track their assets and disengage them remotely if contractual obligations weren’t met. Having such a system would be a huge business win for the company and a material benefit to their bottom line.
In this case, the RPC Team helped our client build a custom application that could easily monitor vehicle locations around the country and provide fleet management across a dispersed network. Once completed, this new system quickly became an integral part of AMS’s Operations management and business process. Customer use of the system was mandated in new contracts, so user uptake quickly approached 100%. The RPC Team was able to help AMS maintain and scale the system throughout that process and successfully transferred ownership to the internal team afterward.
